Kanniga has more than 30 years of experience in Early Childhood and Special Needs in several capacities including classroom specialist teacher, curriculum developer, special needs mentor and certified trainer.

She is an experienced speaker and presents at both local and international conference. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood and Child Development, is an adjunct lecturer at National Institute of Early Childhood Development (NIEC), as well as an Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) Fellow.
