Presentation Topic and Synopsis

Teaching and Promoting Positive Learning Behaviours: an Evidence-Based Approach

What are Positive Learning Behaviours? Can you teach it the way we teach children Mathematics and English? How might the use of Tier 1 School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) positively transform the students' learning environment, as well as the teachers' experience in behaviour management?

Through this workshop, participants will learn how they can target behaviour management in students positively with the use of Tier 1 School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) components through gamification. The team from Grace Orchard School will share their experiences in their implementation of this approach, to systematically promote good behaviours.
